-Monday

    After James and Tamara cleaned the garage, Grandma gave them five dollars.

Week 2

-Monday

    My dad gave the present to Pete and me.

    It wasn't a surprise; I knew he would do it.

-Tuesday

    April is my favorite month of the year.

    We made the last payment on our new radio.

-Wednesday

    The workmen laid a straight track for the freight train.

    Maggie claimed she was too busy to do her homework.

-Thursday

    Mrs. Peters asked Mr. Beckman, "Will the concert start at 7:00 or 7:30?"

    The workmen have come to fix the oven in Sammy's kitchen. 

Week 3

-Monday

    We had a flat tire, Amos was carsick, and we got lost.

    Chris thought, "I hope they will choose me for their team."

-Tuesday

    "Look out below!" he called.  "That rock is falling!"

    Mother and her Polish friend, Brigitta Slovik, went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch.

-Wednesday

    Our minister, Rev. Murphy, has worked in churches in Australia, Guatemala, and Malaysia.

    Their mother asked them to go to Black's Market for her.

-Thursday   

    "Why do I have to do my homework now?" complained Tori.

    "It's always best to get your work done before you watch TV," said Mom.

 Week 4

-Monday

    On April 2, Grandma Avery will celebrate her hundredth birthday.

    I studied an interesting article, "Kayaking in Alaska," in the National Geographic World magazine.

-Tuesday

    The old, tired dog wants to lie down by the warm fire.

    Are we supposed to read "Across the Plains" or "Mountain Trek" in our history books tonight?

-Wednesday

    The scariest story in Horrifying Bedtime Stories was "sounds of the Night" by T. S. Jones.

    The farmer let them ride his horse.

-Thursday

    Dad sits in a chair to read his newspaper.

    Is Miss Brown's English class going to recite Robert Frost's poem at the assembly?

Week 5

-Monday  

    "Carl, will you help me with my homework after school?"

    "No, not today, because I have to go our of town with my mom and dad."

-Tuesday

    Why doesn't he ever do his homework?

    "This doesn't look like anything I've ever seen before," said Dr. Thomas.

-Wednesday

    After I've finished skating, I am going to the library for a new book to read.

    Did you get a letter from your pen pal?

-Thursday

    We stopped once to use the bathroom, stretch our legs, and eat some dinner.

    Three boys' bikes were left in the center of Seventh Street on Saturday, October 10.

Week 6

-Monday

    Mr. and Mrs. Lee have traveled to Europe, Asia, and South America.

    I can't wait to travel by myself!

-Tuesday

    Maggie claimed she was too busy to do her homework last night.

    Mario, Lee, and Robert went to the Steinhart Aquarium to find out more about dolphins.

-Wednesday   

    Every Saturday morning my little brother watches Rugrats.

    Last summer my friend Sarafina moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico.

    "If we work hard," replied Judy, "we'll earn an excellent grade."

    Michael asked, "How soon will breakfast be ready?"

Week 7

-Monday

    That John Elway football belongs to my brother and me.

    Michael and I ran in the Big Brothers' Marathon.

-Tuesday

    Everyone was invited to their party.

    Several butterflies and eagles flew overhead.

    Those women's lunches all cost the same amount.

    Jim likes chocolate chip, molasses, sugar, and peanut butter cookies, but I only like oatmeal ones.
